Saltley Academy Pupils Impress in National Maths Competition
The UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) Junior Maths Challenge is an annual competition aimed at students in Year 8 or below. It consists of multiple-choice questions designed to test mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills. Participants compete individually, with the highest scorers receiving certificates and the opportunity to progress to subsequent rounds of the competition.
Congratulations to the math students from Saltley Academy for their outstanding performance in the recent UKMT Junior Maths Challenge! With over 300,000 students participating, it's truly impressive that three of them ranked in the top 3% across the UK. Their achievement has earned them an invitation to participate in the Junior Kangaroo Maths Challenge, which is a fantastic opportunity to further showcase their mathematical skills.
