Assistant Headteacher

Behaviour for Learning; Alternative Provision.

I believe that positive approaches to behavior are essential in secondary schools. By fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, we can help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

By focusing on positive reinforcement and building strong relationships with students, schools can create a climate where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.

When students feel connected to their teachers and peers, they are more likely to engage in learning and behave appropriately. Positive approaches also help to develop students’ social-emotional skills, such as empathy, problem-solving, and self-regulation, which are essential for success in both school and life.
