Assessment and Reporting.

I joined Saltley Academy in 2001 as a Newly Qualified Teacher, and over 20 years later, I still find great joy in teaching and being a member of the Saltley Family. 

I am deeply committed to ensuring that every child has a fulfilling school experience and achieves their full potential. I understand the significant role that engagement in various enrichment activities plays in enhancing our pupils' confidence, mental health, and transferable skills. Being part of the Saltley community, which I affectionately refer to as the ‘Saltley Family,’ is something I truly cherish.

Currently, I serve as an Assistant Headteacher and Lead DSL, where I oversee the Safeguarding Team. In the past, I have managed areas such as Behaviour, Attendance, Wider Curriculum, and data assessment.

Outside of the classroom I enjoy football, although as a Bolton Wanderers fan, no one can accuse me of being a glory hunter!
